Minion Land will feature a Halloween Horror Nights scare zone for the first time this year, with various elements already installed.
Minion Land Scare Zone

The haunted areas start just outside the Universal Studios Store. This is probablyThe Beginnings of the Horror Scare Zone. Linked to the event’s general themeConservatory theme, The Birth of Horror is “a deteriorating greenhouse filled with twisted vines where artists create homages to Halloween Horror Nights 34.” Visitors will “come across monstrous crows, gargoyles, and other creatures.”
The sets look like stone platforms featuring columns and stairs. Two nearly identical platforms are located in front of the Universal Studios Store and beside Wicked: The Experience.
Down the street, outside Villain-Con, there is a bigger fake stone setup. It features a podium surrounded by wrought iron fencing.
Fast & Furious House
We are now able to observe some themes in thetent next to Fast & Furious: SuperchargedThere appears to be a wooden structure featuring what seems to be orange leaves on a tree branch in front of it.
San Francisco
Outside the Fast & Furious: Supercharged entrance, theplatform installeda few weeks ago, there was a set of stairs leading up to it.
The Coca-Cola and fishing theme on the trusses surrounding the platform are remnants from theJawsoverlay in the region and are not connected to HHN. This area could contain theMutations: Toxic Twenties scare zone.
Animal Actors on Location!
Apart from Animal Actors on Location!, there are now several towers with lights on top, directing attention toward a platform in front of the flagpoles. It remains unclear whether this platform is connected to the nearby scare zone — The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane — or if it serves a separate purpose.
The Woman Who Lives with Cats on a Crooked Street
There are currently broken window features on top of these three buildings forThe Woman Who Loves Cats in Crooked Horror. Each features a white half-circle with black borders and simulated glass inside.
Entering the Central Park section of Universal Studios Florida, there are many new decorations for the Cat Lady scare zone. Several old bikes are resting against the fences, with vines wrapping around them.
The bicycles could belong to the trick-or-treaters who have turned into wild cats, as stated by the house’s description.
Flat black cat ornaments are placed on top of the fences. More lifelike fake cats could be introduced to the area in the future, or the real cats might only be depicted by scareactors.
Besides bicycles, there are articles of clothing stored in barrels. These could be the abandoned outfits of the transformed Halloween visitors.
Other traditional Halloween decorations include flat ghosts and pumpkin-themed banners. Some autumn leaves are also present. Near a few of the bicycles are paper jack-o’-lanterns used for trick-or-treating.
More extensive scenes are designed to resemble stone and brick.
A skeletal figure is seated on a bicycle. It appears to be a decorative element, rather than the remains of a Halloween participant.
Casks and a big box are located at this park entrance in front of theLew Wasserman statue. A variety of Halloween decorations and outfits are piled on top of each other.
It seems as though a clown has misplaced their polka-dotted attire and colorful wig.
there’s a used-up doll wearing a polka-dot onesie.
Dangling from the tree branches above the scare zone are many jack-o’-lanterns.
We searched but didn’t spot the well-known Lil’ Boo. Perhaps he will come join his brothers and sisters later.
Another cask is adorned with traditional Halloween decorations and a flannel shirt. There’s a black cat figurine wearing a witch’s hat. A lantern contains a white candle.
A grimy stuffed ghost is positioned on a carved pumpkin beside the barrel.
Bouquets of feline creatures and orange foliage intersect the balustrades.
Two imitation brick pillars signify the primary entry point to the haunted area. White plastic sheets conceal the hardware on the inner surfaces of the pillars, suggesting that gates could be installed in the future.
One column displays a “9 Crooked Lane” sign accompanied by two felines.
Battery Park
Beyond Crooked Lane, the structures leading into Battery Park are now wrapped in red fabric. This area typically features a bar and character interactions.
Masquerade: Dance with Death

The park’s Hollywood district is located inMasquerade: Dance with Death. Elaborate themed stageswere placed on this street at the beginning of July. There are currently identical columns with cast iron gates.
Themed lighting fixtures have been incorporated into the corners of every reddish-brown stage. These are tall lamps with a gold finish.

A third reddish-brown phase was introduced since our previous update. It features a black panther motif in its simulated stained glass. These stages now include A-frame Halloween Horror Nights signs and red barriers restricting guest entry.

The stage made of white marble lacks the lamp fixtures. It could be the primary stage in the scare zone, as it features a somewhat different design.

Two columns featuring gates are located at the far end of the scare zone near The Bourne Stuntacular.
