Rye High’s boys basketball team has captured the Section 1 Class AA championship, finishing on an 11-2 run to defeat Clarkstown North and bring the Golden Ball back to town. Senior Henry Shoemaker’s 27 points led the Garnets, who now advance to face Goshen on Tuesday in their continuing push for a state title.
