Among those honored are Clarence Richardson, a long-time civic leader; Nadene Stein, a retiring school administrator; the Waltham Educators Association; and the Waltham Times, a nonprofit digital outlet that has played a vital role in supporting students, families, and community life.

Remembering Jane Fogg, a Waltham-Born Artist and Community Supporter

Jane Todd Nichols Fogg, a beloved Waltham native who passed away at the age of 93, left a lasting legacy in the community. Born and raised in Waltham, she was deeply involved with Waltham Hospital and local industry. Her life was marked by her passion for art, community service, and strong family ties. A celebration of her life will be held at The Church of the Redeemer, with donations suggested to two Boston-area organizations.

From College to Career: A Waltham Grad’s Creative Journey

Madison Umbrello, a 2018 graduate of Middlesex Community College (MCC), has turned her graphic design training into a successful career. Returning to MCC last fall, she designed illustrations for a new children’s storybook featuring the college’s owl mascot, Swoops. Her experience at MCC paved the way for professional opportunities, and she now works as a senior art designer and adjunct professor. She credits the college for preparing her for long-term creative success.

Air Force Advances in AHA Tournament

The Air Force hockey team has made a strong start in the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) tournament after sweeping Bentley on their home ice in Waltham.
