“Our History, Our Voice” exhibit: 10 a.m., Greeley History Museum, 714 8th St., Greeley. In 2022, individuals from various parts of Greeley united with a bold objective. Noticing the absence of Mexican American narratives in regional history books, they felt it was time to document their own story. Since then, the Mexican American History Project Greeley group has conducted interviews with numerous local residents, carried out thorough research, and compiled all their discoveries into a manuscript. This book is scheduled for release this year. “Our History, Our Voice: Mexican American History Project Greeley” highlights this grassroots initiative aimed at honoring, elevating, and sharing the contributions of local Latino community members.
