If you’re not planning a spring break vacation this year, your children might be questioning what they’ll do with their spare time.
Luckily, numerous museums and groups are providing enjoyable spring break programs to ensure children remain secure and engaged.
El Paso resident Liz Trow launched Bab’s Boutique in Central El Paso at the close of 2025, serving as both a retail store and an artistic hub.
“We are a creative pub. We offer custom clothing and repairs, but we also serve as a gathering spot for workshops with local young people focused on skill development. We can instruct in sewing and art classes, incorporating STEM,” Trow said.
The shop, located in a former hospital building at 1221 N. Cotton St., Suite N1, offers handcrafted children’s clothing for sale. The company is set to host a Spring Break camp this March.

EPCC Spring Crafts
The El Paso Community College Valle Verde campus will be hosting a Spring Crafts event for students on Monday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place on the Building C Balcony at 919 Hunter Drive. Bab’s Boutique
Bab’s Boutique, located at 1221 N. Cotton St., Suite N1, is hosting a Spring Break workshop for children in March.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children aged 7-9 and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for those aged 10-12 on March 9-13. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with paint and clay. The fee is $120 per child, which includes all necessary supplies. El Paso Historical Museum
The El Paso Museum of History is hosting a Japanese Girls’ Day celebration on Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 510 N Santa Fe St.
El Paso Art Museum
The El Paso Museum of Art, located at 1 Arts Festival Plaza, provides a range of art classes for children from March 16 to March 20. Subjects covered are pottery, painting, and needlework. Chamizal National Memorial
The Chamizal National Memorial is hosting a Migratory Bird Day event, beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, located at 800 S. San Marcial St.
The schedule for the day features a birdwatching tour starting at 8 a.m., followed by a brunch session with a bird expert at 9:30 a.m., and concludes with a bird feeder crafting activity at 10:30 a.m.
Mexican American Cultural Center

The Mexican American Cultural Center is hosting a Culinary Spring Break Camp running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on March 18-20, at 201 W Franklin Ave. This three-day culinary program will teach students fundamental knife skills, kitchen safety, and various cooking methods.
The program is designed for students in 3rd to 5th grade. Participants will develop skills in using knives, preparing sauces, and creating nutritious meals.

The MACC will also host a Fruits of their Labor: Still Life Water Workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. The session will be taught by artist Maria Natividad. It is intended for individuals aged 15 and older.

Sunny Farm
Sunny Farm Learning Center is offering a Kids Spring Break Camp for children aged 3 to 7, taking place from March 16 to March 21 at 5747 Montoya Drive. The program will feature outdoor games, art activities like drawing and painting, horseback riding, and excursions into nature.

Gymnastics Elite

The Loya YMCA Branch is offering a Spring Break Camp running from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, between March 2 and March 20, located at 2044 Trawood Drive. Meals including breakfast, lunch, and a light afternoon snack will be available.
The program will feature activities such as art and craft projects, science and technology learning, and outdoor games, among others. El Paso Zoo
The El Paso Zoo is offering Spring Break camps that run weekly from March 7 to March 29. The camps will take place from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and will emphasize conservation initiatives aimed at safeguarding animals.

Jumbo Park El Paso

Jumbo Park, At 11180 Rojas Drive, there is a well-liked destination for families in El Paso, offering various amenities such as areas for jumping and climbing, a ninja warrior course, and a zipline. Recently, they introduced a new attraction called Jumbo Diggers, where children can dig and play in the sand while operating tractors. Additionally, there is a section with remote-controlled toys for parents to enjoy.
Western Playland
Western Playland, located at 1249 Futurity Drive in Sunland Park, N.M., will have special hours during Spring Break, running from March 10 to March 21.

The schedule will be: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from March 10 to 14, and March 17 to 21, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 15 and 22.
