Welcome again to Scenic Six.

It’s difficult to believe that July is coming to an end soon, but don’t worry, there’s still a lot of summer remaining. I have details on what to see and do this season in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, a chocolate festival in New Hampshire, and where to discover the Fluffy Chowder that everyone is talking about.

Why the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont deserves your attention as a travel destination

It’s up to Vermont to establish a Dog Chapel and a Museum of Daily Life. A visit to Vermont’s quirky, beautiful, and tasty landscapes is always a great choice. However, I recently spoke with Loralee Tester, director of the Northeast Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, regarding why the Northeast Kingdom is particularly worth exploring. Take a look ather choices for what to visit and experience there.

Here’s where you can try Fluffy Chowder this summer

If you’re unfamiliar with Fluffy Chowder, it consists of clam chowder, lobster, and “magic sauce.”I met with its creator, Sylvia CheeverAt Rye Harbor Lobster Pound in Rye, New Hampshire, she explained the origin of the name and why she believed it should be a registered trademark. You can enjoy the chowder in Rye or at theHampton Beach Seafood Festival in September.

I was at Hampton Beach earlier this month —view my video as it delves into this perfect summer escape.)

See Newport affordably this season

The coastal city of Newport, R.I. is famous for its sailing activities, opulent Gilded Age mansions, and shops along the harbor. For travelers looking to save money, I’ve compiled a list ofthree budget-friendly methods for discovering the location, which has recently been recognized as one of the most welcoming locations in the United States. I can assure you this: a walk along the beautiful Cliff Walk is always delightful!
