Exciting New Additions for Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida is getting into the spooky spirit as preparations for Halloween Horror Nights 34 continue to unfold. New props, set dressings, and details have been introduced across various scare zones and attractions, enhancing the eerie atmosphere that fans have come to expect.

The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane (Central Park)

The Cat Lady’s house has seen a significant transformation. In previous updates, additional foliage such as vines creeping up the porch and walls was added. Now, more greenery and cat-themed elements have been incorporated. A giant yarn ball sits on the side door awning, while the yard features grave markers for her cats—though it’s unclear if they were always cats. A wreath adorns the front door, and several cat photos are displayed among other decorations. A jack-o’-lantern rests on the porch, accompanied by a wooden barrel with a mask on top. Two bone wind chimes have also been added to the porch, adding to the unsettling ambiance.

Mutations: Toxic Twenties (New York)

In the Mutations: Toxic Twenties scare zone, a car crash has led to the spillage of BzzzCon toxic materials, creating mutated zombies. The car involved in the crash has now been added to the scene. A figure, possibly a victim or a mutated zombie, lies under a white sheet next to the car, covered in neon green substance. This car is linked to gangster Diamond Joe Malone, who may have been fleeing from a bank heist. Bags of cash are falling from the trunk, and the area references last year’s Triplets of Terror house.

Sting Alley Food Booth

Previously, a tent was set up for the Sting Alley Food Booth, but now fencing with green splatter has been added when approaching from the lagoon side of the park’s New York area. This likely connects to the Mutations: Toxic Twenties scare zone. One panel features a rusty barrel, and another displays a handprint in neon green. Behind the fencing, wooden boxes sit atop pallets, with a standing barrel nearby. A building facade has been erected to house the food booth, continuing the paint splatter theme. Two more panels serve as an entrance/exit to the alley and food booth, reminiscent of last year’s A Quiet Place theme.

San Francisco Candy Factory – Chief Brody’s Truck

Chief Brody’s police truck is now parked outside the San Francisco Candy Factory. Universal has begun removing the Little Amity overlay, but Jaws seems to be making a lasting impression. The newspaper in Brody’s front seat indicates the point in Jaws when the tiger shark has been caught, and the beach is believed to be safe.

Café La Bamba

Vines have been added to the exterior of the Café La Bamba facade, tying in with the overall conservatory theme for HHN 34. These additions help create a cohesive and immersive experience for guests.

Tribute Store Poster

The Tribute Store is a heavily-themed store with its own backstory and references to HHN lore. It will be the main location for Halloween Horror Nights merchandise this year. The new poster features an image of the Museum of Antiquities and reads “A Grand Reveal Gala” with text about “Occult Artifacts of the World.” The exhibit, called the “Pithos of Epimetheus,” references Greek mythology and has appeared in previous lore, including the office window of Detective Boris Shuster.

More New HHN 34 Merchandise

Several new items are available for purchase, including the HHN 2025 Folding Fan, which features a blood-splattered background with gargoyle prints. The Lil Boo Light-Up Headband includes three small jack-o’-lanterns that light up in green, red, and blue. These items offer fans a chance to take home a piece of the Halloween Horror Nights experience.
