Ultra-low-cost airline Allegiant is increasing its already significant footprint in Florida with six new routes, and three of these depart froma brand-new destinationfor the organization: Fort Myers.
New flight paths connect Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) with Allentown, Pennsylvania, Appleton, Wisconsin, and Des Moines, Iowa, featuring starting one-way prices at $69, according to the Las Vegas-based airline.announced July 28.
Allegiant is also introducing new flight paths between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and Toledo, Ohio; between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Fort Wayne, Indiana, and between Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Allegiant provides a network consisting solely of nonstop, direct flights and utilizes almost half of its overall capacity within Florida.
The budget-friendly airline made its debuteight new routes from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, seven journeys to St. Pete-Clearwaterand flights to Orlando-Sanford in November 2024, along with other destinations, as part of a significant nationwide growth initiative. Allegiant also introduced aPunta Gorda/Fort Myers to Chattanooga, Tennesseeroute in February, and another Sarasota flight, this one toLexington, Kentucky, in April.
