Harrisburg City Council has asked a Dauphin County judge to hold Mayor Wanda Williams in contempt, accusing her of violating a court-approved budget settlement over an interim department head. Council wants potential daily fines, possible custody if noncompliance continues, and reimbursement of the city’s legal costs, arguing residents shouldn’t pay for the dispute. -

A standout Bishop McDevitt running back, Jerome Larue Jr., is transferring back to his home district at Central York, shaking up District 3 football. State funded program offering multimedia apprenticeships to young adults
From Harrisburg, state officials have launched a year-long Multimedia Producer Apprenticeship to help young adults break into film, digital media, and related fields. The state-registered program, backed by Pennsylvania Creative Industries and Big Picture Alliance, follows national standards and aims to provide paid, skills-based training that leads directly to entry-level creative careers.
